Whiffs of fresh buttered corn, subtle streaks of caramelized oak, and vanilla incense aromatics lead into a rich palate redolent of lemon curd spread onto a toasted croissant; bright acidity equalizes a hedonistic texture almost resembling lanolin. Showing a ripe and lasting finish of roasted citrus fruits and toasted almonds, this Chardonnay is sure to deepen in complexity over the next year or two.
