Zinsane 2014 Zinfandel
This wine is nearly opaque and ruby. The nose shows notes of pepper, black berry, and blueberryt pie filling. On the palate, rich, bright notes of blackberry jam, raspberry, and blueberry integrate smoothly with cinnamon and nutmeg.
VINEYARDS: The warm, dry summers, relatively cool winters, and deep loam covered in large rocks make Lodi ideal for growing Zinfandel vines. Across California in 2014, harvest began early. This vintage also marked the third consecutive year of exceptional quality. In Lodi, yields were slightly lower, meaning grapes were more concentrated.
